Who Says An All Mesmer Deep Party Can't Do Well
Hi
In the now growing tradtion we just tried an all mesmer run to the Luxon Elite Mission, the deep. It took us about an hour to fine tune the test build and get a full team together. Avarre, myself, Geraldine and one of Avarre's friends(Sabina Fidelis I think) had worked on the build before hand but it was very much a case of seeing who can do what on the day.
The team comprised of
Me/E Myself
Me/mo Avarre Mnestris
Me/n Laura Fantus
Me/n Yvonne Hingis
Me/e Geraldine Griffiths
Me/e Nadeen the Purple
Me/Mo Dana de Nerian
Me/mo Doyle Ledford
Me/mo Sweet Avril Lavinge
Me/W Deprive Will
Me/Mo Bella Sera
We split off into rooms with room 4, Me, Bella and Will being the breakout room. Room 3 would provide the heal party and bonds to support room 4's so assisting in the breakout efforts.
The plan was for us to meet up with whatever room we could get to and then clear the rest of room 1.Alas it did'nt quite work out like that and room 4's ended up clearing the entire first level including the aspect of pain - lol.
I error 7'd just as we got into the third room. Spit spit hiss hiss.
But regular reports kept me in touch with the parties progress. Another err 7 hit just as they were going into the scorpion aspect bringing them down to 10
The party finally wiped at the aspect of fear when they were bodyblocked in.
We have an idea as to how to improve things, such as we had too much healing and we needed a trapper for the fear aspect. BUT as a proof of concept and as a test build it went very well.
Next stop Kanaxxi.

That was nuts... it's going to take a week to release the tension I built up in my neck and shoulders after that run.
Here's a pic as we took down the scorpion aspect.
And here's how it ended.

What build was Deprive Will? IW or Spell Slasher
@Opeth11
Actually if your a mesmer player you'll know that alot of ppl think mesmers are useless. I couldnt get into a group to Forgemaster until I invited my own friends to do it with me.
Like when Avarre showed that her mes was beyond 1 million exp (or something like that) ppl were shocked. Why? Mesmers can solo.

Actually, I do have a Mesmer, ShazBo, and I realize people do think that Mesmers are useless.
That post was regarding The Deep. Who has actually questioned Mesmers and The Deep before? I've never seen anyone do so.

The Title is a spin off from someone who claimed that mesmers could'nt clear sorrows. So it's a kinda running joke.

Yes but I think this post was showoff how cool Mesmers are. And the title "Who Says An All Mesmer Deep Party Can't Do Well" was to get people's attention that Mesmer rule.

I'm all for Mesmers Uniting and Necros Uniting. I can't stand Warriors. All my Warrior is good for is running. Personally I think Mes and Necros are the most fun to play as. And once I get my Vengeful build perfected my Ritualist will be McAwesome.

They won before they started. Avarre + 11 other mesmers = win, regardless of actual outcome. All died, yeah... but they still win for originality and style.

Originality about team mesmers? Not really with them (except if you check the other saying GLF MONK, TANK, NUKER, ETC)... but I agree for the style

Never played the place; due to lacking factions (it has yet to come to oklahoma in collector's form...suspected late june can you believe it? Oklahoma never gets any of the cool toys)
But by looking at the list
Me/E Myself
Me/e Geraldine Griffiths
Me/e Nadeen the Purple
3 /e
Me/n Laura Fantus
Me/n Yvonne Hingis
2 /n
Me/W Deprive Will
1 /W
Me/mo Avarre Mnestris
Me/Mo Dana de Nerian
Me/mo Doyle Ledford
Me/mo Sweet Avril Lavinge
Me/Mo Bella Sera
5 /mo
3 /e
2 /n
1 /w
5 /mo
I suspect a evasive damage aggro'er with damage pile-on; but thats how most organized groups are so guess I'm not much help in dissecting their skill sets (even less considering lacking knowledge on the zone)
